Welcome to the home of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Omicron Gamma Omega chapter where we serve Glen Burnie, MD and surrounding areas.   I am Yolanda Pinckney, the 12th Chapter President, and I bring you greetings on behalf of the ladies of this Overachieving chapter.   I am elated to represent Omicron Gamma Omega chapter as its President as we celebrate 40 Years of Unforgettable Service & Sisterhood. 

Chartered in 1984, Omicron Gamma Omega is a chapter that is committed to serving our community, dedicated to our sisterhood and work diligently to implement the International Programs of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® under the leadership of our International President, Danette Anthony Reed addressing the need to:

This small but mighty award winning chapter with approximately 100 members, not only addresses the international program initiatives of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® but continues to Soar to Greater Heights of Service & Sisterhood by providing thousands of dollars in scholarships to deserving high school students, organize an annual Historically Black College and University (HBCU) Tour, hosts its biennial Little Miss Ivy Fundraiser pageant, and celebrates family at our yearly Black Family Picnic.

As Omicron Gamma Omega chapter strengthens our community, we do it with L.O.V.E; continuing the traditions of our Legacy, providing Opportunities for others, standing firm in our Values, while demonstrating Empathy. Omicron Gamma Omega chapter seeks partnerships with similar focuses and foster relationships that will enable us to further our mission.
